Voldemort the rabbit

The word rabbit is a very general term that refers to more than twenty species of big-eared mammals of the family Leporidae, in nine genera biological. Alone the European rabbit (Oryctolagus cuniculus) is the source of many breeds of domestic rabbits raised now in the world. Rabbits have in common a figure less slender than hares and, unlike the latter, they are born blind and naked, hidden in a nest before leaving in the open air. Animals designated by this term are very present in the culture. The word « rabbit » is used both as a surname as such trademark. Many famous fictional characters are also rabbits and « long-eared animal » is present in art and literature as well as in popular culture, mythology and symbolism of several continents.
